Experience
I attended Pepperdine University, where I earned a master's degree in Clinical Psychology. I later attended the University of California-Merced, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree. Everyone has the ability to excel. It often takes guidance and support to get there, however. In this way, my work in tutoring is focused on advising and leading the way for my students. I've been working as a tutor since I was in high school, where I worked with younger students in writing and reading. While in undergrad, I worked with students in drafting, writing, and revising essays and research papers. My tutoring expertise is focused in English, Language Arts, Literature, Reading, and ESL/ELL. I'm also comfortable working with students in French, Social Sciences, Psychology, and Public Speaking. I'm also great at assisting with bettering study skills, organization, and writing college essays. I most enjoy tutoring Public Speaking because I know how anxiety-producing it can be, until you realize the audience is there to hear what you have to say. When I'm not tutoring, I like to play video games, watch Anime and other TV, and sing. I'm also into creative writing, cooking, and baking.
